as probably noticed, I´m not posting recently since the play doesn´t leave any time except for putting on and off the make up and having after show drinks and hangovers.

not having been a moss lover forever, now that I became intrigued with her, I think this is lasting love.
she (and combined with pete doherty, still) perfectly portray(s) la nouvelle bohème.
she is a wild child and a party girl but behind that you can see more than the plain will to get juiced but a zest for life, which is, looking beyond the tabloids not only saturated with nights out but with literature, poetry and arts and, to generalize it, love.

this shows in kate´s passions exhibited in her projects and her willingness to step beyond the catwalk to become a muse of the art world, let it be in music or visual arts.

most impressingly, kate moss´ inner blaze of course shows in her love life.
differently form other celebrities, what is seen by the public is not something that is intentionally shown.
there is no `playing the perfect girl/couple/life´ to satisfy a certain image.
kate lives and loves the way she does and is not willing to change that because it´s coincidentally followed by cameras.

she is a true bohemian butterfly and a free spirit.

presenting my favourite fashion illustrator lovisa burfitt.
her drawings are stunningly expressive in a very subtile way, her drafts with few lines accent just the characteristics that give people and views uniqueness.

allthough it causes confusion sometimes, may it be strangers staring at my shoes and even my dearest not understanding my theatrical inside, being excentric is a great part of me and actually I love being different and unpredictable ..sometimes even surprising to myself!

"laugh, when you feel like laughing,
cry, when you feel like crying
and dance, when you feel like dancing."

..are great words to follow on the path of theatrical excentricity.

being a fashion and reading material lover and with a new magazine being released almost every day, I buy and read a lot of those print media.
disappointingly, most of those magazines are really plain and are only repeating each other with all the newest celebrity gossip, styling tips and latest trends on fashion that you can already guess will not last a week.

I found for myself that I am getting constant viewing pleasure and literal reading quality from Vogue.
being a monthly released magazine it offers you a large number of sites (I love bringing it home from the newspaper stand, feeling it´s weight) with articles you will not only read down easily and forget but who are researched precisely and written in a literarily sophisticated way that makes you enjoy every single word.

with the photo series it´s noticeable that they´re working with (fashion) photographers like David
laChappelle who really know their job.

Vogue might be the most expensive of the mags and the intellectual level does not make it a media to be read in the tube but for me it is the magazine that is worth its price and for which I turn off the telephone every saturday morning.

as far as I got in the current issue I really enjoyed an article which was named "voyeurs of your own" which was about how people are working on their `image´ these times.
they want to look rather ideal than real to others.

today yet, we´ve come to the point where perfection isn´t the main goal anymore. the media already campaigns the `beauty of personality´ with all its imperfections so that epecially in fashion it´s not en vogue anymore to be too matchy-matchy but to celebrate changes in style.

this, still is only another kind of `image´.
but if personality and its uniqueness is the new perfection, why even creating an image out of that?
can´t we just be ourselves then and show our personality just the way it is without any polish?

as the article points out, humanity´s main problem is the need for pleasing others.
as shakespeare already said: "the world is a stage, and we´re all actors", people´s behaviour vary mainly according to if someone´s watching or not.
therefore, we´re observing others as well but what we see in them is basically only a projection of aspirations and shortcomings we feel in ourselves.
since according to behaviour-research, looking at others closely will always be followed by comparing them to ourselves, the most appropriate consequence is not even starting.

in times when authenticity seems to be the best prestige why not completely abandonning any image care and just being authentic?

I liked the ads whenever I saw them and yesterday I had a nose full tried the prefume for the first time.

It´s very floral and rosey, well, predictably, looking at the campaign´s pictures, which is not neccessarily something I would usually look for in a perfume but still it is very fresh and clean. a scent you like to put on just having stepped out of the shower.
additionally, it´s just not expensive and the flacon does make a pretty accessoire in the bathroom.

this will most probably be my next perfume investment, even if only to bridge the financial gap until christmas.

going through the fashion magazines lately I proudly realized that my favourite thing to look at, was it in it ads or designer reports, was definitely german designer wolfgang joop´s label Wunderkind.
the fall 2007 ready-to-wear collection looks very fairy-ish in an almost inapproachable way with dusty colours and floating, vibrant shapes and still manages to be extremely wearable.

I´m keeping an eye on that one since it is exactly the kind of unagitated excentricity I love.

after my previous blog abandonned working properly and I am feeling ready for making my mind up in a new way at the moment, I decided to start a new blog now. at a french place which I´m sure will cause problems with me only being able to pronounce "haute couture" in the right way but maybe it´ll do my french a favour.

well, what my blog will be basically about is.. my life. everything I´m interested in such as arts, literature & fashion and all kinds of things I discover and find striking and excentric, let it be musings on people and everyday happenings.
